Violence

Question Posted Sunday March 18 2007, 2:07 pm

What is the one type of violence you can't unlearn? According to my health teacher there is a violence that if you learn it, you can't stop doing it. I've tried to search for it but I cant find it.

I'm pretty sure it's being a victim of sexual abuse when you're still a child.

I think it is either, child abuse, sexual abuse, or even crimes based on race, sexual orientation, religion, etc. (Example a man gets beat up because he is gay, or swastikas are spray painted on a jewish persons home)

Hi,
i believe that the type of violence is child abuse or something close to that. If you think about it, if a child gets raised in an abusive family, when it is an adult it will also be abusive. There is help for that though, but it really doesnt go away, it remains in the person emotionally.
I hope i've helped!
