where would I go to my tool options on adobe photoshop 6.0?

Well, I use a Mac. It's under Window > Tools.

If you have PC, it should be under the tab that's on the left to 'Help' on the menu bar. There's a lot of options, take your time to read through them to find 'tools'.

Hope I helped. If not, go to Help on photoshop and search 'tools'. It'll tell you how to get there.
