So there's this guy. i kinda like him (just a tiny bit) and im friends with him. ive been flirting he's been flirting back. and how can i get him to see me as more than just "this is my friend"- acctual quote

First off, you can't make anyone like you. He'll like you if he wants to like you, and if he doesn't, that's cool too. So basically, liking you is totally up to him & there's nothing you can do to MAKE him like you. He doesn't really have to. Just remember that. But anyways:

Well, you flirt with him. So that's already out of the way. Ask him to see a movie, or maybe go to the mall with you. And just hang out there. And if things go well, then go from there.
