ok so my friends ex boyfriend likes me. and i like him. we never met. its along story not going into detail. well were meeting sometime this week. and well i was just wondering what do i do? like what should we talk about? where should we go? and i hope my friend doesnt leave. because im gonna be so lost. what do i do? and my friend is cool with me going out with him because well i mean just in case we get to that point. so dont say i shouldnt.
Anyway, why don't you guys qo catch a movie? A movie is the best thing because you don't necessarily have to talk. But some things you could talk about are things he would be interested. Its a fact that people LOVE to talk about themselves, so ask him questions. Like if he's into any sports, play any instruments, what kind of music he listens to, and if he's in any after school clubs. Conversation is sure to start, and he'll probably ask what youre into too. Don't just say, "Oh, i dont kno. everything i gess". Without sounding concieted tell him everything you're into. But make sure both of you get fair amount of talking time.
If you guys are really having a good time, go to get something to eat after the movie.
DoesHeCare answered Wednesday March 7 2007, 9:17 pm: i have a some what similar situation.
i'm going to have to assume that you have spoken online or on the phone to have gotten to like each other, like i have.
if you've talked to each other online or on the phone, you must know something about each other like what they like and/or dislike.
go from there to make conversation.
and remember that people love to talk about themselves, and use that to your advantage as well.
hope i helped. :] [ DoesHeCare's advice column | Ask DoesHeCare A Question ]
