You need to remember that you broke up with him for a reason. I don't know the whole story, but I'm sure there was a big reason as to why you two broke up. I say just be friends with him.

Well first before getting back together think of why you broke up and how he treated you. If it was a clean break up and he was always sweet then why not? If he cheated or treated you badly or ignored you, why go through the pain again?
