icey0990 answered Sunday March 4 2007, 12:27 pm:
Unless it's a movie about a serial killer, horror movies typically have a higher body count, involve much more guts and gore, and may involve some kind of supernatural aspect (all of the movies you've listed, plus the classic scream queen/slasher flicks). Thrillers usually have a more psychological aspect, the violence may be a little more understated, and the plot lines a little more "emotional". Some great thrillers are 'A Perfect Murder', 'Kiss the Girls', 'The Game', and 'Psycho'.
