im a girl with an afro who needs help majorly!

my hair, i love it but i want it to tone down A LOT sometimes. its nice to feel like i have that big poofy curly hair that everyone envys but sometimes what i really want is for it to be straight or wonderfully wavy. what all can i do to have the perfect straight hair? like hair wash or straighteners or other hair stuff and if so what would it be and where could i find it? For wonderfully wavy hair? and again like hair wash or straighteners or other hair stuff and if so what would it be and where could i find it?

i have really natural blonde medium length hair that is really curly and sometimes i think i might look like a poodle! oh no. im tired of straightneing my hair for 4 hours to get it perfect anything else that can help? sorry for so many ?'s ...im 14/f thanks

The ONLY hair straightener that works is the "Chi". You can find them at most hair salons and they sell for a little over $100- but it is WORTH it. It's amazing.

The only thing that will get my perfectly UN-straight hair straight.


you could also buy some relaxing cream and put it on your hair after u wash it but while it's still wet and like comb it in with ur fingers and then dry it with an ion-powered hairdryer (i got mine at target for like $15) and straighten the sections with one of those circular brushes (i think they're called spornette brushes)...

don't lose hope- i have the worst textured hair ever and it's really thin but it looks thick sometimes and other times it looks all limp.

so be thankful that you have that nice poofy look. haha.
