Boys are always gonna be shy in front of their friends because at school thats where all the reputation is,Since everyone is watching him its gonna make him feel pressured and it will be harder to do more stuff.
Tell him that you want him to be a LITTLE more open at school, but he doesnt have to go ALL the way yet.
When you start off a little more open, it could lead to him being WAY more open.
If you see what Im saying, lol.
Also tell him that it doesnt matter what other people think, unless he cares alot about that.
But dont worry about him not being so open, as long as hes TRULY an amazing person it doesnt matter how he acts in front of his friends because all guys do that, no matter how tough they act ,they probably have a soft side at home :]
