you know how like on myspace and stuff some people have the word 'represent' after their names? or even just after a sentence? what does that mean? thanks

Say someone has like Tiana! [LA REPRESENT] or something like that, LA is Los Angeles, and if that's where they're from, that's what they're representing. Just like I would represent New York, and you would represent wherever you're from.
