I have no idea how to wear my hair for prom! I was thinking about wearing it half up and curly or in a loose updo. My hair is a few inches passed me shoulders, dark, dark brown with white blonde under my bangs and underneath my hair. My dress is black, strapless, and on the skirt of it is covered in black and white feathers. So how should I wear my hair???
LM answered Sunday February 25 2007, 9:49 pm: Strapless dresses look best with your hair down (or mostly down, since updos are fun!).
It balances out the look and doesn't leave your shoulders overexposed.
Try doing something simple that will last through a night of dancing. Curls, half straight half curly, or straight with a small section pulled back would all be cute. Accent it with something like a pearl bead on a bobby pin... my hair dresser did that for my formal last year. It's really elegant, but simple.
Whatever you decide, hold it in place with lotssss of hairspray.
:)
EDIT: Imperialistic is absolutely right. It's a matter of opinion. I usually suggest that because my shoulders look terrible but I love strapless dresses =) [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
