gutar and paino!

ok ive been begging my parents to get me into gutar lessions, and i just got an awesome gutar i can play some songs already from freinds that taught me.
problem is i sort lost intrest in it and dont wanna learn it anymore

but i CANT tell my parents that, the truth is i wanna learn paino!! and cant afford to get both!

please help!

you should continue with the guitar. even if you're bored, you made a commitment to it. you may actually like it. if you can't afford a piano, try playing at a friends house once a week, or maybe you can see if a teacher at your school would be able to stay after and teach you to play there.

how do you know that you won't lose interest in piano? pianos are much, much more expensive than guitars. of course, you could get a keyboard, they are fairly affordable. i would give guitar another chance, maybe you'll like it more once you're better at it, but let your parents know that you're not so sure about it. maybe they'll let you take a few lessons so that you can see for sure. and then if you don't regain interest, you might be able to sell your guitar or something. but try getting aqaited with piano a little before you actually try to get your parents to buy you a keyboard.
