Windows 2000

OKay i have 2000 windows and i have aim... well there are things you can download for aim like a font fader... well it is a ZIP file and when i download it it saves okay but when i try to open it, it asks what program i want to open it with.... well when i click aol instant messanger nothing happeneds.... soo i dont know how to open these files... and is there a specific place i should save them.

A zip file is like a folder, there are files inside of it. Double-click it and it should open an explorer window, just drag the files out of it and they will be extracted. If that doesn't work on 2000, install 7-zip and extract it with that:
