Which one?

Question Posted Wednesday February 21 2007, 9:26 pm

I have been in a long relationship (six years)... It is really up and down. He doesn't really like to be romantic w/me anymore. We both have resentment toward each other. I went out of town 2 weeks ago w/ my family and met somebody. He asked for my number and my Sister gave it to him. He has called me a few times and we email each other. I really like him, but I am an honest person and I know that it is not right to have both of them. He knows my situation and that I am not happy. Now, my current boyfriend is being all nice. He will do this for two months and then go back to being uncaring, unsentimental and accuse of me of ridiculous things. I am so lost. Is it worth it to try again and again or is it time to finally MOVE on?? Thanks!

Your current boyfriend doesn't seem to be very appreciative of you. If you really think you have feelings for the new guy, I'd go for it. Your boyfriend is being nice because he doesn't want you to dump him for the other guy, he is probably scared because he doesn't want to feel rejected by you or unwanted. However, maybe there is something on your current guy's mind. You could ask him about it.

If you really like this new guy, and your boyfriend of 6 yrs isn't treating you how he should, the choice is obvious: the new guy.

just move on. i don`t think it`s worth it. you`re basically wasting your life on one guy that won`t even always act like your boyfriend.
