i didn;t really know where to put this..
but anyways,

in the movie meet the fockers, how come pam's mom always says "muskrat" to pam's dad when gaylord(greg) asks to hold little jack(the baby)?

i'm just curious, and if anyone knows i'd apreeciate if you shared your knowledge lol

"Muskrat" is a code word they have agreed DIna should say to remind Jack to keep his cool. They choose an odd word that will not come up in a normal conversation so it has more impact, but they never explain if the word has any personal significance to them.
