Practice talking to guys you are not interested in first. That way, you have nothing to lose. In most ways, talking to a guy is easier than talking to girls. Why? Just say what ever you want, guys are not as judgemental in this area, because they are not great conversationalists themselves. They have low standards when speaking! runawayxlove answered Friday February 16 2007, 1:13 pm: hey, well talking to boys can be a toughie for shyer people. you just need to act confident. even if your not confident at all, just do it. boys love confidence and can sense it from a mile away. as for things to talk about, talk about what happened in school today or even just social things. example: talk about bob and carla going out. talk about things you have in common. say you both play soccer. talk about your postions or something to do with soccer. whatever you do dont talk about things you dont know about like if he plays baseball. chances are you dont know a thing about the sport, so the whole time its going to be like mhmm or oh. talk about something that you can actually get into and understand.
