Teenagers

Question Posted Thursday February 8 2007, 6:36 pm

what do you think is the biggest problem that faces teens today? like in the early teens or so.. from ages 12-15ish i guess, or it could count for everything in general i guess. its for this research paper thingy in my 7th grade literacy class and i dunno what topic to choose! i thought of sports cuz sometimes you get rejected and you have to try real hard but i couldnt really think of alot of ideas for that.. it has to be 1 specific thing. cant be like "family problems" has to be specific like "divorce". so whats your opinion? i'll use the best one here. thanks!

I think it is mainly sex and self respect(Im 13)Teenagers have no respect for themesleves these days. They'll do anything for a bf,gf or to hang with cool kidsThey'll flash for bf/gf which isnt right because we are too young to be doing this and it quite filthy. The bf/gf only want them for one thing. The relationship will never last so why bother even doing something like. They thinking doing something sexual will impress people but its dirty and fitlhy and parents do not know about their online blogs, msn - dirty messages on phones and piczo, mysapce sites. It is absoloutly dreadful.Teens are getting preganant because they are in a realtionshop which mainly includeds pressure than anything else. Most teens can cope with parents and divorce. But sex is the worst. They have no repsect for their body.they might as wellbe prostitutes,Im glad Im not like that.

personally, peer pressure with drugs, alchohol, etc. hasn't been a problem for me, and not with other people i know either. i'd say the biggest probem for my age group would be trying to fit in. a lot of people try to be something they're not to try to be accepted, but still they don't think they have enough friends or whatever. i think that's a biggie lol

wanting to fit in. become popular. many teens want to be popular or feel small about themselves because of peer pressure
