So you can be talking to her already, and maybe say, "oh, that reminds me.. so when I was walking down the street," or, "Oh, guess what happened? When I was walking..." Something like that. Or, you could go up to her, and be like, "Hey, guess what just happened? When I was walking down the street..."
If she's not already your friend, then strike up some conversation. This might sound lame, but you can just talk about something you have in common. Like, if youre in the same english class, then, "How'd you do on the test?" would be good. If she starts talking back, then you know she's interested. A sarcastic comment would fit really well right there. Get her to laugh early on, and she's yours. If you start to really talk, you can tell a funny story, just like you might if she was your friend.
And also, when I said tell embarassing stories, didn't necessarily mean that they had to be embarassing. They could just be funny. And also, try and make sure that they really are funny before you tell them, just in case. And nothing to mean. Thats usually not good.
