Question Posted Sunday January 28 2007, 11:15 am

i'm fifteen; my boyfriend was over the other day and we were downstairs in the basement. the furnace is down there and it makes a lot of noise, so we make sure that we don't "do things" while it's running because we can't hear if someone is coming down the stairs. well, my boyfriend was kissing my neck when my mom came down (and we couldn't hear her because of the furnace). she saw him and now dislikes him a lot. i don't know what to do to get her to like him again and allow him to come over and go in the basement with me. and i can't just go to his house because he hates it and refuses to invite me there. help!!

You really should try talking to your mom. Tell her that`s all you were doing & she happend to come down at the wrong time. Try to see if your mom will let him come over for dinner/visit one night and try to get to know him better. And make an agreement that you will stay in the family/living room for a while to build back up her trust. If she still doesn`t budge then try to hang out with him somewhere else, like the mall for awhile. I`m sure your mom will come around. Hope this helps. ♥
