Hair Removal

Question Posted Saturday January 27 2007, 10:15 pm

15/f

I shave my pubic hair and I have a few questions.

1) Shaving leaves irration and red bumps.. how do I prevent this or make it go away quickly?

2) How often should I shave, when I get stubble or when my hairs get longer and softer?

Thanxx!

To make sure you don't get red bumps, use plenty of soap (or creme whichever you use to shave) and be sure to shave in the direction that the hair grows.

Wait until the hair gets a little longer before you shave again, simply because there is a less chance of getting irritation.

answer1-usually red bumps come if they shave it too much.but try using shaving cream. thats what i do.

answer2-every three days if you are sexually active. just do it every time you think you are gonna do something with a guy, if not lay off for a while.

1) Honestly, there is no real way to prevent the irratation completely. Remeber to lather up with A LOT of shaving cream to help out a little bit.

2)I would recommend shaving every three days. If you're going swimming or some place where that area may be exposed.. then shave the day of the event. But besides that every 3 to 4 days is a good idea.

Hope I helped.

There really isn't any way to stop the irritation, but a quicker, longer lasting way, is to wax it. It may hurt more, but trust me, it looks so much better, and the effect will last much longer than if you shave it, without the bumps and irritation.
If you don't want to wax, then try not to shave it too often, to avoid irritating it even more than normal.
