Well im a girl but i tell you what i know about it. Its just means you're healthy. Guys generally get a few erections a day. Its perfectly normal. All normal healthy guys wake up with them. Sometimes they might've had a wetdream.

Guys usually have erections several times in the night (usually during the REM period). They usually get erections responding to excitement, relaxation or some sort of sexual stimulus. Physically, it's just caused by blood rushing to the penis. All healthy young men have morning wood.
