I have a 30 GB iPod.
When I connect it to the computer to put songs on it,iTunes opens. When I click a song in the library to put it on my iPod,a '!' comes up by the song & wont go away & I can't put the song on my iPod.It doesn't happen all the time, though.Help??
DuHHitSkATexx answered Friday January 26 2007, 9:21 pm: I've had this problem before. First, you have to think about where you got the songs from. If you got them from someone elses iPod, they will most likely have the "!" next to them. All this means is that the song you have choosen can not be played because its original source could not be found. You can not play the song if it was transferred from someone elses iPod. If you transferred it from a CD, I really don't know what to tell you. It's always worked for me. But if you still want the songs that have a "!" next to them, the best thing to do is to get them off Limewire and put them in your library. This is what I do all the time so I don't have to buy my songs and CD's.
Hope I helped!
