Can you really lose a crush?
Theres this guy that I met this year in my class, and like immediately I had a crush on him. I dunno why.. but something about him interested me, probably just because he was cute, and I thought he was interested in me at first because he kept looking at me sometimes and it was kinda obvious. Most of the time I was too shy to talk to him, though Im not really a shy person. But it wasnt like he hated me because once he stood up for me when some retard kid was making fun of my instrument. And blah blah blah. I think I'm starting to get over him, I mean, I guess I'll usually think hes cute, but I dont think I really wanna get involved with him romantically anymore for a couple reasons. i've told my friends about my crush, but they dont believe that i dont have a crush on him anymore!!! I like 2 other guys too (a little) but like.. yeah. is it possible to just get over someone without falling for another person so you change your mind about the first guy? (kinda confusing?) Mmm.. what do you think I should do? maybe i could be a friend of his, but hes like a big jock (btw, I'm 13 in 7th grade) whos not the brightest crayon in the box (but is totally cute), and I'm like both a tomboy and a girly girl, not popular but not unpopular either, and I guess I have good looks (not to sound conceited!). Im kinda confused on what to do.. and if i really still like him... or... IDK!

If you'd like to get over the first guy just avoid him and thinking about him(if you do think about him think about his negative qualities :p), for a few months. By then all of your lovey-dovey hormones will be flushed out of your system and you might wonder what you ever saw in him in the first place. If you want to be friends with him i'd wait until after this cooling off period or else you might have a hard time having soley friendly feelings for him. Only you know if you really still like him!! And if you do(more than those other guys) then go for him if you think you'd be happy in a relationship with him! If you like one of the other guys more than him you can go for either of them! And don't forget being single is always an option! It's up to you to choose what you think will make you happiest! Maybe you could ask yourself, what things make me happiest in the long and short term? After this follow the path that most closely corresponds with that question's awnser. good luck! : )

omg...i sound just like you with the personality and everything...im 13 too and I used to have a crush on a guy too...and then I lost it...yes,you can loose a cruch and if your freinds dont beleive you are you sure they are ur real friends?Tell them that they need to trust you on this guy.And that you are not joking around.Hope I helped :)

You can never have too many friends. You say you are confused and that's understandable, you don't really know this guy, make friends with him and you will know if you want it to go any farther. It's always best to be friends first. Worst case scenario is that you don't like him in THAT way but you made a new friend.
