How do I be a better back spot?

Question Posted Thursday January 18 2007, 10:37 pm

It is nationals season for our all-star squad right now. One of the girls, a backspot, left our team. I was a tumbler in the routine, and now I have to be a backspot. I'm short, (4 ft 6) and I weigh 80 pounds. I have to backspot someone who is about 100. Help me please!

ya i had to back spot also for my team. all i could do was work out alot and try to get stronger. it worked so maybe you should try that. if theres not enough time then ask your coach if you could trade spots with one of the bases or front spots or flyers. w/b
