dvd Ripping

does anyone know how to rip DVDs on your computer like how you rip songs off a CD? This website that I went to, they make their video's off of ripping it. And I want to know how..or is it a special program?

If you have a new enough computer, it should have a cd/dvd ripper already on it. If it doesnt have one, and if your computer can support it (like it already has a cd ripper) then you can download one from the internet ( how about [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ,keep in mind its just a trial)
Also, if youre ripping a movie that you rented or bought, they are protected from being ripped. Meaning that you cant rip it unless youve got a program that can override it.
