Is cracking my back safe?
By cracking I mean when you sit in
a chair and twist around. I picked up
the habit from kids at school and it really
makes my back feel better! However, the
horrendous cracking noises worry me.

When it cracks it just means that your vertabrae are either adjusting into place or out of place, so if it feels better afterwards, it means it is better aligned. Don't worry about the weird noise and you can keep on cracking, but if you crack it and it feels worse instead of better, go to a chiropractor to be safe.
