jaundice coming back?

say you had jaundice when you were born....is there any way when you are older that it could come back, without you being sick? just curious....if anyone knows....

Newborn jaundice not come back later in life. You can get it as an adult for many reasons but you would be sick. Here is a list of things that can cause jaundice in adults.

Oh and if you happen to be a carrot or carrot juice fanatic and eat bunches all the time. It can
turn your skin yellow. So in that case you wouldn't have any symptoms..but you wouldn't really have jaundice either. :)

Cirrhosis Of The Liver
Gallstones
Gilbert Syndrome
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis C
Human Immunodeficiency Virus
Kernicterus
Liver Cancer
Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatitis
Primary Biliary Cirrhosis
Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC)
Sickle Cell Disease (Sickle Cell Anemia)
Viral Hepatitis

It's normal for babies to have jaundice. If it comes back when you're older, it's an indication of being sick. Jaundice doesn't come back for no reason, it has to do with a problem of the liver.
