16/F i have feelings for one of my very good friends, and he likes this girl who i KNOW for a fact is going to break his heart. (i know her and cheered with her for about 7 years when i USED to cheer )i told him this and tried to enforce it so that he would not go for her. even though i do have feelings for him i am not telling him this for myself but for him. so my question is if i should tell him about liking him and maybe that could lean him off her. but everytime i like him he doesn't like me but when he likes me i don't like him it is very odd and he told me about two days ago that he could see me and him being together in the future and told me that he loved me as a friend and i was always there for him whenever he needed someone to talk to or brighten up his day.. so i'm getting mixed signals and i think i might want to play hard to get instead of just straight out telling him. what do you think? :) rate a 5 for anyone who replys reasonably

hey, well whether you tell him or not is completly up to you. ill list the pros and cons of telling him and not telling him. if you tell him then he will know how you feel. it will also feel good for you to know that you told him. but if you do tell him he might think that your just jealous. he also could think that your making it up just so that he and the girl wont go out. if you dont tell him then he wont know how you feel and youll still have the fact that you nevre told him all built up inside of you. whatever you do dont play hard to get. its good to do to flirt, but if your serious about this guy then it might just push him away. good luck =].

I think you should just tell him. It will make you feel so much better, just because then you know how he feels too and you get it off your chest. Playing hard to get might not be the right way to go because if he doesnt like you then he not really trying to "get you" so it might not work.
