i may have an STD!!!

Hello, Im getting ready to turn 19 really soon. I have been a virgin until recently. My first time was with this guy i have known almost all my life. We used protection and everything but the comdom sliped off. Now i hear from people that he has HPV i wasnt sure what that was until a few hrs. ago looking it up on the internet i got very scared i dont know what to do. I am going to call my local health department ASAP but im afraid of going alone and what they are going to tell me. i dont know if im tanted for the rest of my life or not please i need some advice on how to handel this situation.
