I was once put in a situation like you.I had a best freind , and i realized that i had feelings for him , but he didn't have any for me. So i thought that if i tell him about it, i would be like honest and share my feelings with him, but that was the most stupid thing i had ever done, because when i told him how i felt about him, he just looked me up and down and said that he will just pretend that I never said anything or that i was just drunk or something. And after that, our friendship started to breakup till we were slipping away from one another ,and before i knew it, we weren't best freinds anymore. So basically, i lost him as my best friend and as a future boyfriend if he was ever gonna love me back. Therefore, what i am trying to say is, i think its much better to just leave things the way they are and share this amazing friendship you have going on because thats much better than loving each other and dating and then breaking up a week after for whatever silly reason.
I know that your feelings are too strong and sometimes you think that you have to tell him that you love him, but you have to try to control yourself. Because thats one mistake i did, and i won't let you do it. So trust me, because i am someone experienced who has been in this situation before and i know the consequences well, therefore i am saving you from the pain and disappointment. Besides, you have him right now beside you, loving you and caring about you, take advantage of that.
