sonnets=PANIC
AHHH.. in english class, we have to write sonnets, and we have to write them TO a person. well, i was in my english teacher's room, and she was reading a few of them (not outloud) and read one that she said was really cute. She said it was written by this one guy. He's one of my best friends. She wouldn't tell us who he wrote to, but she said it was to a girl about how he liked her. also, he flat out lied to me, and said he hadn't chosen who to write to.
so this is a problem. This guy told me about a month ago that he liked me. I have no idea if he still does, but this sonnet thing is worrying me!! We have to read them out loud..and say who they're to. I really really don't want it to be to me. that'd be so awkward and embarassing!!! AHH. i don't know what to do at all!!! HELP!

Trust me, if it IS about you, reading it aloud will be more awkward and embarrassing for him than it is for you. Remember that just because a guy likes you doesn't mean you're obligated to return his feelings, but at the same time, you need to be respectful of them. You can't control whether or not he writes about you, but you CAN control gracefully you react.
