Well....my teacher said that there are two "Grades" of helium produced. One is more or less harmless that does VERY little damage. The other can be fatal...something to do with affecting your brain/ causing permanent brain damage.
So...if i were you...id stay away from the helium...just in case. Every once in awhile youll see on the news someone dying of inhaltion of helium....

Just taking a breath will not immediately harm you, but it'll kill some brain cells. Also, NEVER breath anything directly from a cylinder, the pressure could explode your lungs.
