quality of questions? hi YG! I have to say, you give some of the best advice I've seen on this site. I'm lauraxomichelle by the way =)
Now on to the actual question. =D
Is it just me, or has the quality of questions really gone down in the past year? I don't see as many that are worth answering these days.

Sorry for the long rambling!
I think after you have been here a while you do feel that way. I have been here almost 2 years and it seems there aren't to many questions I haven't seen before!
When it starts getting me down or aggravated I just step back and don't answer very many. I just rate them and approve them.
Then I think about it and try to remember what it was like for me when I was a teen.
There were computers around but mostly for business, not any in homes that I ever remember seeing. There was really no way to ask anyone questions. If you didn't want to ask mom or a friend just stayed in the dark.
So while all the questions are a lot alike there are really kids out there that are just...for lack of a better word, stupid. They really don't know how to Google anything. They really want the answers to the questions we think are kind of stupid. So I get to feeling bad for them and answering again!
So, I guess we just keep answering and hope we help someone get a little smarter. With luck they will remember the site when they are older and have more interesting questions.
We really need more college age and older users. We might get some better questions. Unfortunately
when they come here and get a 13 year old answer to a good question, they don't return.
So answer the repeats and hopefully educate a naive kid. We have to remember that some kids are from small rural areas and are honestly naive about the world.
And if you see a better question and know the answer, by all means answer it. If it has a really idiotic answer already, file an abuse report. We need those asking good questions to stay or come back.
Thanks for liking my advice. I try my best! :)
