dont know what to do about this girl

im 16 year old male
i saw this girl at college, lets call her anne, and i instantly thought she was the one for me, a few days later i found out that my best freind, lets call him jon, knew her. i didnt talk to her at first because im quite shy but after a few days she asked my name and i was told her's by jon, that weekend she was having a party and jon asked if i could come because i dint know anne well enough yet so i hadnt been invited but thats fair enough, i went to her party and it was great but at her party she had sex with someone else, lets call him alex, now theyre sort of on the verge of going out, she was saying today how she relly likes him but non of us are shure if hes really interseted in her because hes really really shy, more shy than me. i really do like anne i just dont know what to do!!?? ive only known her for almost a week so i dont really want to say anything yet because its probably too soon for her and might seem a bit weird, is thier any special way of talking to her or anything i could say, we live quite close and we get the same bus home sometimes and get off at the same stop so i do get plenty of oppourtunitys to talk to her although mostly thier are other people around but we are on our own sometimes.

When you have the chance to talk to her, take it. Don't sit around and be all shy about it when you could be talking to her. If you start talking to her more often maybe something could develop. You have to give it some time, though. I do believe a week would be a little too soon and since you guys didn't really talk, it'll probably be better just to hold of for awhile. Try to get to know her more and talk to her more. Build up a friendship before you try to get a relationship going with this girl.
Even though she's liking and/or going out with this other guy doesn't mean she can't become friends' with you and hangout. Ask her to do something with you sometime. Go to the mall, take her to the movies, go for walks, ask her to come hangout at your house, go to parties, etc. Anything you enjoy doing ask her to do it with you.
For now, just keep it on a friendship level. Since she doesn't know you all the well it would probably be for the best. Once you guys start hanging out and start to know eachother more than maybe something could happen; only time will tell.
