When you have a miscarriage, it's kind of like starting your period, only a lot heavier and a lot thicker. The blood may be clumpy and the bleeding may last for 3 days, or only 10 minutes. If you suspect you have a miscarriage, you need to go to the doctor. Parts of the fetus may still be in you, and it can cause a serious infection.
Nothing should happen to you, but the baby dies. It's like a natural abortion.
