Question Posted Monday November 27 2006, 1:35 am

For 2 weeks before I start my period I have cramps. My period lasts usually 7 days...And I have cramps at least 5 of the 7.The cramps dont feel like normal cramps though..They hurt way more like sharp pains stabbing me in the stomach. Is that normal?

I get these sometimes, too. I even get them a few days before my period actually starts, you're normal and a lot of girls go through the same thing as you. The best thing to do while you have cramps is to lay down with a nice hot towel on your stomach (where your stomach is hurting the most.) A nice hot bubble bath will help with the cramps also.
