ti-83+ silver edition--apps

i need to download some applications for my TI-84 Plus Silver Edition graphing calculator. i have the TI connect loaded on my computer. but how do i go about putting the applications on my calculator from my computer? i tried but everytime it just doesnt show up on my calculator.

83 or 84? i assume you have the link cable. are you using TI connect or the one specific to your calculator? with the specific one, you go to file (i think, might be one of the others in the menu) and theres a send application or send flash menu. you cant just send it as a normal program
