how do i get started??
ok. i LOOOOOVVVEE to act. i find my self acting out everything i see on tv and it is really what i want to do with my life. i just dont know how to get started. i know i can get involved with school plays and stuff, but that wont get me anywhere. does anyone know anything about this subject,, or know what i can do to get started with pursuing my dream??

Actually, participating in your schools theater productions will go a long way. It will get you comfortable acting in front of an audience, give you practice with things like memorizing lines and things of that nature. The support of your parents in an undeniably important factor. Being involved in theater will show your parents or whoever is your support system that you really mean it when you say you want to act.
In addition to that, you will have an instructor who will likely be a retired proffesional or a young aspiring acotr/actress like yourself and they can clue you in to steps you can take.
Finnaly if you really love to act, then theater will give you the chance to do just that.It really the best first step. Good luck to you.
