does having sex a couple weeks before you're supposed to get your period actually skrew up when your period is going to arrive? (if you're not on birth control)

It shouldn't, unless you're pregnant. I'm assuming that you're young and your period may still be irregular, but if not, there are times when your period can be a little off. Don't worry too much, if your period is a week or two late, take a pregnancy test. However, I have known of a girl who thought she was pregnant because she didn't get her period for 3 weeks, but then she got it and things were okay. The body works in weird ways, if you're super worried about it in a couple of days, tell your mom or physician. Good luck, hope I helped! -Angel
