phone ringtones

I have sort of an old phone. i can record things on it like my friends acting like freaks. but, i was wondering if there was any way i could record a song like this and then apply it as my ring tone. thanks a bunch

well, with a Sprint and a Verizon, you can do that. [hit record, then save, then menu, then Apply As Ringtone]. But with a Motorola [that's what I have], you need to send it in a message, then press menu, store files, then re-store the sound, then in your Sounds folder, hover over the file, hit menu, then Apply As Ringtone].

It all depends on what kind of phone you have.

I know that was really confusing, but I hope I helped. :]
