You first need to develop an eating schedule, but eating foods in small quantities several times a day rather than large amounts of food a few times a day. Believe it or not you maintain your weight much easier eating small amounts several times a day. It's the same thing anorexic people did (I know you are not developing some eating disorder from what you are telling me) but my point is you need to maintain the portions you eat. Start by what I first said earlier, and also exercise a bit. You don't have to go hardcore and run for an hour a day or anything. Just a simple walk around the park or go out to see friends. Just the simplest things like that can help you better your mind off of food. Also, drinking LOTS of water helps!! You have no idea how much that helped my eating problem awhile back. However I wasn't a water person so I went with stuff such as flavored water or ice tea. Both works great. In fact, green tea curbs appetite. Lemon water does the same. Just the smallest things like that really makes a difference. Don't push yourself too hard by barely eating, because then that's when the urges of food get worse, and you gain more weight. So balance it out and do a little physical activity.
