I just recently had my tonsils, uvula, and andoids removed. About 4 days ago. They hurt really bad but all the crap gets caught in the back and I just now noticed it so I have to sorta "scrape" it out and spit it out with a q-tip. Is this normal?
Anyway it won't be permanent. It will stop getting
caught back there when it heals up completely.
You should probably really drink the fluids while eating. That will help some. I don't know if it is normal for you to have to scrape food out like that.
I have never heard of anyone having to do that.
You may want to call your doctors office and consult with his nurse. You don't want to do anything to make it sore or possibly cause an infection. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
