I want to loose 15 pounds by Februrary. Is this possible? Without being insanely strict, how can I achieve this? Exercise/diet plans, please!

If you want to become healthier and lose some extra weight then you need to change your eating and exercise habits. Telling yourself you are on a "diet" only makes it worse. Tell yourself you have adopted a newer, better way of eating. Without going through all kinds of exercises, there is something really simple you can do. WALK. Walk as much as you can. You might be surprised what an hours worth of walking can do for your health, physically and mentally. In the span of a little over a year...I lost over 100 pounds by walking. I also cut out quite a bit of the junk food and sodas. I did not go on a diet, but changed the way I ate for the long run. I lost more weight by walking that year than I did by joining a gym a few years later. Good Luck! [ WiseOne's advice column | Ask WiseOne A Question ]
