A crush on my best friends brother :o

Question Posted Friday November 10 2006, 1:25 am

Hi :) I've got quite the dilemma. I'm 18/f, my best friend is 17/m and his brother is 16/m. I love my best friend. He's funny, he's sweet, he's absolutely incredible and I'd do anything for him. Therefore, I don't want to hurt him or make him too uncomfortable.

But I have the craziest crush on his brother. He (my friend) thinks his brother digs me too. But he's told me, semi-seriously, that if I went out with his brother, he wouldn't be my friend anymore. Should I let it go, or talk to my friend?

I would seriously talk to him before giving up the idea completely. Find out why he feels that way.

He may think it would make things between you awkward. I mean if you tell him things now...be kind of weird talking about his brother with him.

He may feel like he would be put in the middle should you and his brother have an argument.

Then again he may be just a little jealous. If you
dated his brother you might spend more time with him.

Talk to him and see what he says about it. Don't let him joke it off either! Tell him to be serious. :)
