Question Posted Thursday November 9 2006, 5:22 pm

so i'm a freshman girl..and i have a crush on this senior guy who's in my class (i'm in french III and i'm french myself lol)
he's not like gorgeous or anything, i like him for his personality. i don't know, there's something so big-brotherly and nice about him..ugh weird! it's like i have a crush on my big brohter, its so hard to explain. but yeah, i'm kind of obsessing about him right now and it's kind of worrying me.
well we talk pretty much everyday, but only a sentence because i mean..he is a senior after all. but he does say "hey whats up" to me and stuff.. i don't know waht is going to come out of this. but i also heard that senior guys sometimes were fake nice to freshman girls to get lucky because freshman girls are ignorant... help?

Well, first of all, you only heard. Which basically means it's just gossip, and is just some rumor being spread around. You got a 50/50 chance of it being true or not.

Also, if he were trying to get lucky with you, don't you think he'd make a much greater attempt to talk to you and get you to like him more than just one sentence per day?

I would just continue talking to him, and even if he doesn't initiate the conversation, doesn't mean he doesn't want it. Just keep talking to him about music, school, maybe old teachers he had, etc., and get to know him better.

If you start to notice he's hinting at wanting to do something with you and get lucky, you can always back out. You don't have to do anything he says, and you shouldn't just to get him to like you or anything. If he does this, he's just a huge jerk and he doesn't deserve to be talking to you anyways.

But just initiate more conversation, flirt a little, and see where it goes.

I hope I helped.
