cleaning a straightener

does anybody know any ways that i can clean my straightener?


it has a lot of build-up & residue from the balm i use in my hair, and its soo bad that its not even working right anymore.

suggestions???

Hey. First thing you should do is put rubbing alcohol on a cutip and get in between the cracks and hard to get spaces. Then just put soap and water on a cloth or any type of safe cleaner and rub it across the ceramic plates. Make sure the cloth is damp not soaked, that its not plugged in when you do this, and that you dry it off when you are done. Hope I helped ♥
