Sorry to all who read this if it is a bit long. There is a guy i met a few months ago at school and i found we had quite a few things in common, we hung out around school a bit and got along really well. i told one of my friends about, she isnt a close friend, but we were getting close at the time. she agreed that he was a great guy and said that it was cute. a few weeks later she decided she had a crush on him as well. Things have been so weird for me now. i cant quite shake the feeling that he'll fall for her. im not sure if he knows that she likes him, but everyone around school does, so i think he does as well. Only my closest friends know i like him..should i tell him? We have a lot in common and we could really have something i think. Its weird however becasue some days he is very flirty and funny and we talk alot, then the next day we dont talk as much and stuff. A lot of things he says make me think he probably likes me.. then other times it seems as if hes not THAT into me. i hate having to basically be "fighting" another girl for a guy, i always thought that was so silly... until i met this boy. What do i do? should i tell him how i feel? i couldnt stand the thought of telling him i like him and him liking the other girl..id be so humiliated.

Tell him that you want to get to know him more. Just Do It! Do it before she does. Smart people speak up first. Reach out and make the first move. The worst that can happen is he will say that he doesn't feel the same. If that happens, then you can say that you gave it a try and it just wasn't nmeant to be. It will not be the end of the world if you guys do not get together. You existed fine before he came along, Right? Men and friends come and go. They always will.
