okay so my friends are taking me to the clinic to get bc pills like sometime this month [november] and i just want a few tips on what to say and stuff .

be honest. & keep in mind, this is just what they did at the health department i went to.
when you first walk in, tell the woman/man at the desk that you would like to be put on birth control. she will ask you a few questions that should be relatively easy enough to answer. and then she will give you a form to fill out. it will ask questions about genetic disorders, diseases you may have, if you've been checked for certain illnesses, your period, and maybe some other stuff. once you fill out the paper, you will sit in the waiting room until they call you just like any other doctor's office. you'll go in, and the nurse will ask you some pretty personal questions. like STDs, how many people you've been sexually active with, when you lost your virginity, the date of the beggining and the ending of your last period, et cetera. then (s)he will probably take your blood pressure and temperature and stuff. after that you'll go into the examining room and they will give you an examination. but whatever you do, don't lie. the answers you give them are very important.
