Hi!<3
15/f
My name is Lauren and i'm homeschooled right now. I really like it a lot, but I feel like I have no friends. I have a few best friends but I feel like we're drifting apart and we're so different from eachother, and I feel it's time to move on.
I'm a pretty shy person, and i'm not like most teenagers my age. What can I do to open upto new people and friends??
thanks

SWEETXLOVE answered Saturday October 25 2008, 11:08 pm: many people cant believe it, but i use to be shy! when i was around people i didn't know, i wouldn't talk very much and i would feel very uncomfortable. then my junior year, i decided its time for a change. i opened up, i just didn't care what ANYONE thought about me, except the one's i loved of course. i would be nice to everyone because really, what good is it to be a bitch and just grouchy all the time? i smile all the time, just for the simple fact that i hope it will make someone's horrible day, better [: it will also be easier for someone to approach you, knowing that your friendly and very easy to get along with! i know it will take time to open up and not care what people think, it really will. but say hi to someone that you haven't talked to before, but maybe have seen around! try to get back in touch with your best friends! then go places with them, maybe meet some of their friends. it's also so much easier to just be yourself when your with your girls! i hope i helped girl if you need anything else let me know! i know you can do it ♥ LU [ SWEETXLOVE's advice column | Ask SWEETXLOVE A Question ]
