well i got my period [ i am assuming it was ; it was a large reddish-brown spot in my underwear. ] back in july ONCE, like i had the spot there ONCE and then i got nothing at all until this point; well tonight i had the same spot. what's going on and is this indeed my actual period or is it just "spotting" or whatever. thanx

Yes its spotting, it happened to me almost a year before i got my period. it's nothing to really worry about, but if it starts happening more fequently you should talk to your doctor.
