Is there any program that takes the vocals out of songs? I'm trying to make a cd of karaoke songs (and don't tell me to just go out and buy one because I won't EVER find the songs I want on a karaoke cd). If there is a program, is there a place I can download it?
Thanks so much!

By adjusting the levels of the music to neutralize it you're going to greatly affect the sound of the song. The professional way it is done (without re-recording) is finding the frequency at which the vocals were recorded and eliminating that- needless to say, it is not easy, nor is it something that can really be done at home. However, if you can adjust the levels to minimalize the vocals, you may be able to use it just as well as a karaoke track by singing out over it.
